Your licence

When you download Dark Skies from the App Store or Google Play, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own photography planning, subject to the rules of the store you downloaded it from.

Standard store terms

Apps distributed through the Apple App Store are also covered by Apple's standard licence terms: the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where that agreement applies, it governs alongside this EULA.

What you agree to

  • Don't copy, redistribute, resell or sublicense the app.
  • Don't reverse-engineer or modify it, except where the law expressly allows.
  • Use it lawfully, and at your own risk in the field.

Forecasts are estimates

Dark Skies provides planning estimates, not guarantees. Don't rely on it for safety-critical decisions — always use your own judgement about weather, terrain, access and personal safety.

Full terms

This EULA summarises the licence. Our complete Terms of Use cover subscriptions, availability, liability and changes, and our Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled.
