Using Dark Skies
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Dark Skies app and website for planning your own photography. Please don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer or misuse the service, or use it in any unlawful way.
Forecasts are estimates
Dark Skies provides planning estimates from third-party weather and astronomy data. Conditions can change. Do not rely on the app for safety-critical decisions — always use your own judgement about weather, terrain, access and personal safety in the field.
Pro subscriptions
Some features require a paid Pro upgrade. Billing, renewals and cancellations are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their terms. Manage or cancel a subscription in your store account: on iOS via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, on Android via Play Store → Subscriptions.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available and accurate but provide it "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Dark Skies is not liable for losses arising from use of the app, missed shots, or reliance on its estimates.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
